Outside Product Inspection Equipment Account Manager – B2B

 

 

 

 

Star Packaging Machinery, a family company, is seeking a candidate to fulfill it’s outside Product Inspection account manager position covering the territory of Kansas and Missouri.

We are looking for a driven, motivated, person who is looking for a long-term career in packaging and product inspection capital equipment sales to food and pharmaceutical manufacturers.

Due to our continued growth, we are seeking driven sales professionals to join our team. The position will focus on prospecting and developing new accounts, in addition to handling relationship with our current customer base. Your customers will be Fortune 100 to small and mid-size manufactures of food, beverage, and pharmaceutical products.

A day in the life of an outside sales representative for Star Packaging Machinery:

You get to spend the majority of your time outside in the field, enjoying the sunshine and calling on 3-4 perspective customers per day.

Working as a team with your inside sales counterpart, you will provide leads for appointment setting, set your own appointments, and attend appointments and sales visits set for you. We provide appointment setting, direct marketing/lead generation, and pass on received leads from our principles.

Discuss packaging and product inspection equipment, with existing and potential customers.

You will need to build and maintain strong relationships with your customers. There are a limited amount of manufacturers, and our reputation is very important to us. We believe in honesty, loyalty, and integrity, and expect our employees to display these qualities with our clients.

Job requires up to 50% travel.

Working for Star Packaging Machinery, you will receive:

Continual training from our management, as well as the manufacturers of the equipment that we sell and distribute. You will get hands-on training with all of the equipment that you will sell, and have the potential to travel overseas for additional training.

3-4 weeks paid vacation. 

This position is home-office based, with all relevant expenses provided. 

What you need to have to get in the door:

A record of high achievement and success
A bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline with a minimum 3.0GPA with preferred emphasis in engineering or business classes 

5 years industry experience, preferably in packaging or product inspection sales or use within a manufacturing facility.
An exceptional level of motivation, desire, competitiveness, customer driven focus, time management, multi-tasking, and project management skills
Strong presentation skills and interpersonal effectiveness
A strong work ethic and commitment that will allow you to exceed your financial and professional expectations
Valid Driver’s License
